Purpose and Amount: To provide an annual $1,000.00 grant to a graduating senior of Logan Rogersville High School; based on amount available to spend (ATS). Funds are to be used for education at an accredited university, college, or junior college, trade school or vocational/technical school. In the event the fund can provide two scholarships or one full scholarship and one partial scholarship, the Selection Committee is authorized to select two recipients for that year.

- A Logan-Rogersville Senior with preference for student(s) who have participated in track, cross country or band
- Cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher
- ACT score 21 or higher
- Financial need
- Work/community service/ extracurricular activities
- Essay addressing how running or another area of interest, has helped you to be a better competitor in all aspects of your life
- One letter of recommendation

- Planning to enroll in an accredited university or college for the following year
- Student must have been involved in the Logan-Rogersville FFA Chapter for at least one school year.

- Upper ½ of graduating class (GPA of 2.0 or better);
- Financial need and no other scholarship received;
- Involvement in some type of sports activity during their high school career (baseball, basketball, track, football, volleyball, tennis, cheerleading, etc.);
- ACT Composite score;
- Exhibited good citizenship in the school environment and participated in extracurricular activities of some sort;
- Work experience;
- Essay required.

MFA Foundation Scholarship |Application (pdf)
- Applicant must be interested in furthering their education by engaging in studies relating to agriculture or other fields of study that benefit rural life.
- Applicant participates and shows leadership in school, church, and community activities.
- Must have a good reputation for good citizenship and good moral character.
- Must have a financial need for the scholarship, sources of income, and a willingness to work.
- A satisfactory academic progress.

- Must describe your academic achievements. Include favorite classes and how they impact your career choice.
- Describe extracurricular activities, volunteer work, or involvement in the community and explain your contribution and honors received in each activity.
- Describe what “Wildcat Pride” means to you.
- List any scholarships, financial awards, and/or financial aid you have applied for or received. Describe your anticipated expenses and financial needs.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Pursuing a career path utilizing either math or science.
